UMB50 is a medium tinting strength, mid shade Ultramarine blue. It is heatfast, lightfast, easy to disperse and approved worldwide for use in different applications across various industries.
UMB50 is widely used alone to obtain a bright, transparent shade of blue, or in combination with other pigments such as titanium dioxide, with which it gives an attractive pastel shade.
UMB50 is intended as a general purpose pigment with applications in paint, ink, soap, cosmetics and many other industries, particularly those in which a Medium tinting strength is required. UMB50 can also be used in rubber but for optimum performance grades from the R.S. Pigment’s plastics specific range, such as PlastBlu Premier, are recommended.
