In 1987, Yuyu completed the reconstruction of Anyang plant with the KGMP ( Korea Good Manufacturing Practice) standard, which was originally established in 1957. Yuyu's establishment of the Central Research Institute in 1989 has accelerated the new drug research and development with particular concentration in aging-related diseases such as stroke, dementia and osteoporosis with world-wide research center such as W.A.R.F.(Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation) and various strategic alliance with many manufacturers. Furthermore, for business diversification, Yuyu organized a Health Foods Division and newly formed a special task team for cosmetics and medical equipments.
